Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer 1428
SimoTech require a Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer to join our client in a state of the art Biotechnology site based in Cork. The ideal candidate will have minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configuration, and testing of DeltaV software including graphic’s, control modules, equipment modules and phases.
- Design, configuration, and testing of the batch layer on DeltaV.
- Commissioning of new equipment.
- Provide production support on DeltaV issues.
- Execution of change controls.
- Provide project status updates to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or the Life Sciences.
- Previous site commissioning experience on a pharma or biotech batch automation project.
- Strong knowledge of S-88 Batch standard.
- Good understanding of GAMP.
- Strong knowledge of P&IDs.
- Previous experience working with DeltaV software.
- Good understanding of the Biotech process.
