OT Cybersecurity Specialist 1458
SimoTech require an OT Cybersecurity Specialist to support our client on a global role, based in a state-of-the-art biotechnology site in Cork. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar position. The role offers a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with manufacturing plants to progress Operation Technology (OT) asset inventories.
- Assist engineering teams in assembly of asset inventories.
- Carry out OT cybersecurity risk assessments of manufacturing plants and the technologies they use, in line with ISRM cybersecurity assessment methodology.
- Partake in rolling out cybersecurity administrative controls.
- Provide cybersecurity assessments of external manufacturing sites in conjunction with external service providers.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years+ experience in cybersecurity, with a knowledge of cybersecurity in supply chains, manufacturing, logistics or labs being a distinct advantage.
- Strong understanding of information security principles and processes.
- Knowledge of how cybersecurity relates to other fields, including IT/OT, industrial controls, and automation systems.
- Experience in handling a plethora of cybersecurity issues and requirements, across different industries, including but not limited to, social engineering attacks, encryption, access control and threat detection.
- Hands on experience carrying out risk assessments, compiling results and presenting findings to different teams/departments.
- Skilled in the creation and editing of documentation in line with industry standards, ensuring quality and accuracy throughout.
- Have a working knowledge of System Development Lifecycle.
- A Certification in Cybersecurity (CISM, CISSP etc.) is desirable.
