DeltaV Automation Engineer 1594
SimoTech require a DeltaV Automation Engineer to join our team, supporting one of our leading pharmaceutical clients based in Cork.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in automation engineering, on-site in a pharmaceutical facility. The role involves the design, development and testing of DeltaV code, as well as working with engineers from other disciplines to support projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Creation of automation Functional and Detailed Design documents.
- Coding of DeltaV Control Modules, Equipment Modules and Phase Classes.
- Reviewing and testing DeltaV code.
- Support walkthroughs and reviews of code with clients.
- Conduct commissioning and qualification activities.
- Production support.
- Support other teams, such as validation and C&Q, with projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences.
- Must have 5+ years demonstrated DeltaV batch automation experience, on-site in a pharmaceutical environment.
- Knowledge/Experience of Centrifuge operation.
- Strong knowledge of S-88 Batch standard.
- Good understanding of GAMP, regulatory requirements and computer system validation.
- Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with other engineering and business functions.
