Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer 1546
SimoTech require a Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer to join our team, supporting a multinational pharmaceutical client of ours in a state-of-the-art biotechnology site in Cork. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configuration, and testing of DeltaV software including graphics, control modules, equipment modules and phases.
- Design, configuration, and testing of the batch layer on DeltaV.
- Oversee design, configuration and testing activities of other project team engineers.
- Commissioning of new equipment.
- Provide production support on DeltaV issues.
- Execution of change controls.
- Provide project status updates to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or the Life Sciences.
- 5+ years’ experience working with DeltaV software.
- Previous site commissioning experience on a pharma or biotech batch automation project.
- Strong knowledge of S-88 Batch standard.
- Good understanding of GAMP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills required.
- Ability to work well within diverse, multi-disciplined teams.
