Last week, we gathered in the historic Pairc Uí Chaoimh for our own history making event – the first ever SimoTech All Employee Team Day!
The day was fantastic opportunity to connect, learn, and align on our vision for the future. It was inspiring to see so many of our talented team members come together to share ideas, engage in meaningful conversations, and contribute to the continued success of SimoTech.
Scaling SimoTech: Our Growth Journey
I was delighted to open the day by sharing the vision for the company and our plans for Scaling SimoTech. Growth brings new opportunities and challenges, and I was delighted to set the stage for how we can collectively drive success while maintaining our strong company culture.
Building Connections: Speed Networking
One of the highlights of the morning was our Speed Networking session. It was fantastic to see colleagues across different teams engaging in quick, focused conversations. I hope that the team have fostered new relationships that will strengthen our collaboration moving forward.
Insights
Throughout the day we heard from a selection of the directors of the company with presentations covering Talent Management, High Performance Culture and Engineering Services Delivery but one of the highlights for me was hearing from our Patient Advocates.
We were thrilled to be joined by Claire Counihan and Martin O’Sullivan who shared their stores as patients and identified for us the importance of the work ongoing in the Pharmaceutical and Life sectors. Their stories reminded us why our work matters—not just to our clients, but to the individuals and communities we ultimately serve.
Communication
We were very fortunate to have Alan Shortt as our MC and Keynote speaker for the event, Alan gave a powerful keynote speech on the importance of communication and how we can all learn to be better communicators (even us engineers!)
