DeltaV Automation Engineer 1420
SimoTech has a new opportunity for a DeltaV Automation Engineer, to be based on client site with a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturer. In this role you will be a key member of the Automation Project Team focused on new product introduction on site at a multi-product biotechnology facility using single-use bioreactor technology for batch production.
This role is open to both contract and permanent applicants and will be based in Co. Louth. The ideal candidate will have between 1 to 5 years’ DeltaV project experience within the life sciences industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in all phases of projects from design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting through to commissioning.
- Prepare and present structured, comprehensive, detailed written t functional specifications.
- Configuration of DeltaV software modules (CM, EM, Phases etc.), including Batch recipes.
- Design, develop, or augment programming code for computer-controlled manufacturing equipment.
- Work closely with the Validation Team to ensure successful execution of automation validation deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Information Systems, or related subject.
- 1 to 5 years DeltaV Batch automation experience, including hands on experience with DeltaV graphics and control module configuration.
- Site experience on pharmaceutical or biotechnology batch automation projects is essential.
- Demonstrable technical, project and interpersonal skills with experience working in a multinational environment.
- Good knowledge of S-88 Batch standard.
- Good understanding of GAMP.
- Familiarity with Emerson PSCD library and non PSCD libraries.
