Senior Automation Engineer 1392

SimoTech require a Senior Automation Engineer for a Pharmaceutical site based in Cork. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Development of Functional and Detailed Design Specifications.
• Configuration and testing of automated systems.
• Commissioning and qualification of automation projects.
• Working with process and project engineering to plan and deliver automation projects.
• Ensure project schedule is in line with project timelines and KPI’s.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences.
• Minimum 5 years DCS Batch Automation Experience such as ABB, Foxboro or DeltaV.
• Strong knowledge of S-88 Batch standard.
• Chemical API experience.
• Ability to interact and communicate with other engineering and business disciplines.
• Good understanding on GAMP.
