OT Integration Engineer 1485
SimoTech are seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Integration Engineer to join our team.
As OT Integration Engineer, you will lead and support our client’s Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain Digital OT real asset inventory efforts. The successful candidate will work remotely, working on and supporting OT integration projects and initiatives as well as managing the OT remote support global solution.
This is a key position overseeing multiple IT/OT data streaming and integration projects for a global life science company committed to promoting digital maturity and enhancing digital capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support our client’s Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain Digital OT real asset inventory efforts.
- Work on and support OT data streaming and OT integration.
- Manage global OT remote support systems (eWon) for our client’s GMS.
- Develop and maintain documentation and standards as related to OT.
- Work closely with cross-functional Digital, IT, and OT teams to ensure seamless integration of OT systems.
- Partner with Automation Engineers on OT specific projects.
- Ensure compliance with OT industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct and facilitate self-assessments for our client’s GMS for the endorsed Digital OT initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a relevant area and hands on experience in deploying OT solutions within a life science manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of OT integration processes, remote support systems, and industry standards.
- Excellent documentation, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of electrical engineering principles and automation solutions for pharmaceutical environments.
- Development experience in automation technologies such as PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, DCS and PCS, is highly beneficial.
