IT Labs Support Engineer 1376
SimoTech requires an IT Labs Support Engineer for Pharmaceutical clients of ours based in Cork. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical industry. The IT Labs Support Engineer will be responsible for operational support, ensuring reliable, robust, and compliant Laboratory IT systems to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT support to BioPharma manufacturing and QC instruments and systems.
- Troubleshoot IT issues and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with vendors where necessary to resolve issues.
- Demonstrate technical and interpersonal skills.
- Prepare and present structured, comprehensive, detailed written reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or the Life Sciences.
- Previous Empower and LIMS experience a benefit.
- Strong knowledge of cGxP environment.
- Good understanding of GAMP.
- Experience working with and maintaining analytical instrumentation within a laboratory setting.
