Automation Hardware / Platform Engineer 1395
SimoTech require an Automation Hardware Engineer to join our client in a biotech manufacturing facility based in Co. Limerick. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years’ experience on Emerson DeltaV platform and control system design in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the system integrator design, construction, and configuration of the DeltaV platform including server infrastructure, host servers, thin clients, controllers, firewalls, switches, virtual machines, and physical integration of external systems.
- Provide technical support, review, and approve documentation as necessary.
- Establish standard work practices such as configuration management and testing strategies.
- Review, evaluate, and carry out impact assessments of changes.
- Establish standard operating procedure on processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life sciences.
- Knowledge on GMP, regulatory requirements and computer system validation.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience on DeltaV control system design.
- Ability to lead and collaborate in a team.
- Experience in instrumentation and biopharma engineering operations or manufacturing is an advantage.
