Business Development Manager

SimoTech requires a Business Development Manager to lead the accelerated growth of the company in the Life Sciences industry. The role is part of the senior management team and will be responsible for managing and growing the client base for Site Services, Consultancy and Projects in the Process Automation and Manufacturing IT sector.

Responsibilities
  • Driving new business opportunities both locally and internationally for existing and new Life Sciences clients.
  • Successfully build, manage and execute multiple client, pursuit and capture strategies within a multi-disciplined matrixed organization.
  • Build, execute and maintain a commercially viable, time phased sales funnel that achieves the business objectives of each workstream (Site Services, Consultancy, Projects).
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop and deliver innovative marketing strategies.
  • Provide sales forecasts to the Engineering and Recruitment groups to enable appropriate resourcing levels for all project commitments.
Qualifications/Previous Experience
  • Third Level Qualification in Science, Engineering, IT or Business.
  • 3+ years of Business Development or Sales experience with demonstrated emphasis on technical solutions for the life sciences industry.
  • Computer Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Established leader across the Life Sciences or Manufacturing Automation Industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding assigned metrics include sales revenue and increasing customer base.
  • Track record for developing new and innovative approaches to market, sell and implement technical solutions that meet the changing need of clients.
